Dr. Mark Trump became the pastor of Encounter Church in January of 2024. Pastor Mark and Alison come to Encounter having served churches in various denominations and styles for over fourteen years. But for Mark personally, he was most affected in his early twenties in a church that was dedicated to prayer, to reaching the culture, and helping people have genuine encounters with God and the Holy Spirit.

Mark’s heart to bring his arts background, his deep and relevant teaching, and a relational approach to church together to help people encounter God and take the next steps, at whatever point they are in their journey. Over the years, he has also had the opportunity to teach future ministry leaders how to bring these together as well.
