We are a part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance

Encounter Church is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination, known simply as “The Alliance.” It’s history involves leaders going into the world to reach it for Christ, deciding to major on the majors so we can partner with other denominations and organizations to accomplish The Great Commission, and bringing together Christians and missionaries to advance the Gospel. While it is a denomination primarily in the Midwest and Northeast, we do have several colleges, one of which is in the area: Toccoa Falls College.
