Socrates Cafe is an open-ended philosophical conversation where we love questions. We meet in the Encounter Church Cafe on Wednesday afternoons (typically the third Wednesday of each month). We invite people to bring your best, hardest, weirdest questions about right and wrong, real and unreal, belief and knowledge, aliens, elbows, and whatever else!
Each meeting begins with participants submitting questions on an index card facedown on a center table. The moderator then reads through the questions and, with the help of the group, chooses the question that we will debate/discuss that day.
There is coffee and tea available for purchase at each event.
